We look forward to welcoming you to Ullapool and to providing you with a 
comfortable and enjoyable stay at The Ferry Boat Inn, right on the shore front in Ullapool with wonderful sea views, beautiful accommodation and fine food.
The Ferry Boat Inn is situated on the busy main street (Shore Street) in Ullapool, which is a bustlingly fishing port and is the main ferry terminal for the Hebrides.
The Ferry Boat Inn was built in the 18th Century on 3 floors which are all accessed by stairs, our first and second floor are level with Shore Street, the third floor is level withArgyle Street behind. We regret that there are no ground floor rooms nor a lift at The Ferry Boat Inn.

At The Ferry Boat Inn (3 Star rating awarded 2009, Visit Scotland Inn Member) we offer 9 ensuite bedrooms (recently refurbished), some with spectacular views over Loch Broom as well as a high quality menu with daily specials available and a fine selection of wines, local ales and a wide range of malts. Please ask if you wish a sea view or a room with a preference of bath or shower before booking as not all rooms
are sea-facing. 
The use of Local Produce is supported wherever possible and particular dietary requirements can also be catered for. Tea and Coffee making facilities as well as flat screen TV (suitable for Freeview), and local tourist information, is provided in each bedroom and we welcome guests coming to Ullapool for the first time or returning again and again!
Ullapool boasts a wealth of activities both in the local and surrounding area. It is situated some 55 miles from Inverness in the County of Ross and Cromarty and has a wide diverse range of local activities available, such as: Loch Broom Leisure Centre / Swimming Pool / Ullapool Museum & Visitor Centre / Ullapool Golf Course & Boat Trips to The Summer Isles (The Summer Queen). From Ullapool many visitors take a boat trip also to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) in the Hebrides and with The Ferry Boat Inn situated only minutes from the Ferry Terminal to Lewis, this makes the Inn an excellent base for your holiday whether you wish to stay in Ullapool, or journey north, south or east.
